How Do I Join SVHE?

For more information about the project, contact:
democracyproject@aol.com

SVHE is a fellowship of educators and others who care deeply about core democratic values -- in particular integrity, diversity, social justice, and civic responsibility -- in higher education and larger society. Underscoring SVHE's sense of community and the depth of SVHE's collective commitment to these essential values, membership has historically been based on nominations from current members followed by board confirmation.

The process is simple, and we welcome new members! If the work and values of SVHE are consistent with yours, send an e-mail expressing your interest and append either your vita, a resume, or a short bio. You may send it to svhe@unidial.com.

If you have any questions about membership, the annual meeting, the New Teachers Workshop, the Program for Democratic Values and Practices (DVP), SVHE's publication Soundings, regional meetings, or other activities, call SVHE at (503)725-2575 or DVP at (860)657-9907.
